• ONLY use Board Straighteners™ for holding an
irregular-edged board to a guide board for cutting
on your table saw. Board Straighteners™ are not
designed for cutting warped boards, which do not
sit flat on the table. DO NOT modify Board
Straighteners™ for any other task, but rather, use
“C” clamps, vises, jigs, and bar clamps for
associated clamping and gluing needs.
2. Position the guide board and workpiece to either side of
the Board Straighteners™ as shown in Figure 1.
3. Tighten the thumbscrews until the boards are securely held.
For long boards–use additional Board Straighteners™ DO
NOT over tighten the thumbscrews.
4. Slide the guide board against the fence and make your
first cut, remove the workpiece from the Board
Straighteners™, and put the freshly-cut side of the
workpiece against the fence and make your second cut.
The workpiece is now square.
